The wood of P. elata (formerly known as Afrormosia elata, which gave the species its common name of afrormosia) is very valuable as a moderately heavy, durable timber that is often a suitable substitute for teak. African Teak Wood that is procured from well known vendor. Our range is an alternative of teak mainly used in constructing ships, boats, wooden doors etc. It looks golden orange but it turns into dark brown after exposure to light.
